  You need the Official TA game, the official game expansion (TA Core Contingency), and the OFFICIAL TA 3.1c PATCH (available here)

  Units must be placed into your main game folder.

  We recommend you to download the Uberhack TA mod. A must have!.

  Unit stats on this page are always OTA based, otherwise the unit has been designed exclusively for the UH.

  You might have menu and/or weapon/unit ID conflicts between your 3rd party units, so click here to download an useful program which analyzes and fixes your possible unit conflicts (I hope the link is still available..) . Do not forget to check the integrity of every TA-Power zip file you download to your computer.

  You may download the HPI Viewer to see most complete info on your preferred 3rd Party units (weapon info, unit stats, Etc.). This is how we all started long time ago.

  This is a tool Benito and me did for the unit makers: The 3DO Dry Cleaner™ is an utility to clean up those faces in 3DO files which has no index color asigned or textures on them. It was designed to perform the function that 3DO Builder's 'Clean Up Model' should have done and emulates the collapse face of 3DSMAX. The aim of all this is to reduce the file size and memory usage of models, which should help to improve in-game performance.

Adv. Gunship

What you get with these units is specialized AG (Air-to-Ground) firepower. 'Hit and run' and the surprise factor may be decisive. On the other hand, you may build AA (Air-to-Air) and/or fighters to counter them. Flakers will cut them in pieces, being this the best way to stop any opponent who likes to mass-produce them. 

  To conclude, a piece of advice. If you realize that your opponent plans sending them over your base and you have not some decent AA support up then well, better you run towards the Galactic Gate! ;P

Both units share the same weapon ID 250.

High Energy Lightning Defense

As you probably know already, Arm builds better defensive weaponary than Core. Novas emit a short range High Energy lightning, which drains 310 Energy, but causes serious damage on even well armored units. This means some of extra care, basicaly to avoid lethal Energy stalls. On the other hand, some few well placed Novas, can literaly vaporize those enemy units moving through your bases.

The Nova and the Demolisher both share the same weaponary system. Remember that lightning does can not hit enemy units through perimeter defenses,wreckage or map features.

War evolves as a need. Both factions improved their own Medium Plasma canon versions. These new version are dangerous defenses given their fire rate, so keep your land units out of their weapon range. Although Air units are probably the best option to counter them, you may use other tricky ways to destroy them. Have a good gunning!.

Massive Long Range Plasma Cannon

Well... what could I say?. Scary?
It has more weapon range than the Intimidator being much more expensive and moderately more armored.
It takes its time to reload the massive plasma cannon, but it'll inflict a really big punishment on its targets. It drains
6000 E per shot, but causes a default damage of 4500! (not to commanders though... 2000 to each one only ;) Remember to build E storages or it'll not fire.

Amphibious Experimental Kbot II

This Gantry Kbot clears literally the way of enemies while fires
its powerful Adv. Riot cannons. So it was designed to give an answer to the the Arm cheap swarms. Immune to paralizers, It can act as Close combat Krogoth type unit or as Commander boy-Guard. However it has not any anti-air weaponary or long range BLOD (Blue Laser Of Death).

Selective Chemical-War Tower

This chemical war tower, the first one of its genre for TA, fires  selective acid based projectiles which damage Arm units only (behaving as an alternative Neutron technology). Send your troops to stop an enemy swarm and support your units with Cracker's heavy fire support. That's its role so do not use against other core opponents... course ;P. Btw, it has less weapon range than a Punisher...

Patterned Alien Predator

This unit goes with a powerful short range weapon (the dlex wrist-blades) as well as with a long range non-tracking shoulder cannon (the plasma caster). With its cloack abilities and his own self-destruction as a final touch, this unit will give you the fun that I was looking for. I didn't make it amphibious cause it would be too much, eh? =). The patterned Yautja unit, the Predator, is built in the Core Adv. Kbot Lab at a non-cheap cost though. Obviously, I made this unit for fun but believeme.. it works well in the game ;)
